Movie time

Saw this delightful movie a few days back with my beautiful Russian friend Edita. The movie revolves round a cute robot, WallE. Hey, but note... the time is advanced to about 700 years in the future. Yes, and by 700 years from now, our lovely planet has become so polluted that human beings cannot inhabit it anymore. Electronic and non-biodegradable garbage, and dust everywhere. Not a single living soul, except for a tiny little insect and the robot WallE. This picture of the future seemed really scary, believe me. Disney has really portrayed very well how important it is to protect our environment so that it remains beautiful for generations to come. I resolved not to take plastic bags next time I go to the supermarket, minimize the wastage of water and participate in the project 'Mission green Earth', started by the UN and IAHV http://www.standuptakeaction.org/. What are you waiting for? You too can stand up and take action.

Sunrise

Lovely view of the early morning sunrise from my bedroom window.....it looks beautiful and is amazingly different each day! Gives a happy and energetic start to the day. I cannot help but wonder at and worship this beauty by starting the day with a surya-namaskar, a powerful set of asanas from ancient India. So powerful that the lovely feeling is sustained even after a difficult and tiring day... and increases my capacity to enjoy all the lovely moments during the day to the fullest!
